Trimbio were very honoured to have a special guest visit us on Friday 20th September. Horsham’s very own MP Jeremy Quinn came to see us to talk about defibrillators, saving lives in the community, charity events and recycling.

Some of you may be aware that Trimbio’s MD Simon is a Community First Responder and has a keen interest in defibrillators and saving lives in the local area. He and Jeremy had a great discussion regarding the importance of defibs in the Horsham community and how the rate of surviving a cardiac arrest correlates to the proximity and time in accessing a defibrillator. Jeremy explained he already has knowledge of CPR, but was shown a demonstration of what the semi automated defib would do in an emergency situation.

We also got to share with Jeremy one of our key values of recycling as a business with our reconditioned devices. We believe in supplying important medical devices such as defibrillators, medical couches, ultrasounds and lasers, to name but a few, at affordable prices whilst being sustainable, allowing this equipment to be accessible to those who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

These devices mean businesses, charities and healthcare trusts can save money whilst ensuring they have reliable and safe equipment to use. This is what Jeremy had to say; ‘…it is great to learn that Trimbio refurbishes a whole range of medical supplies to give them a fresh (and safe) new lease of life – cutting costs for charities and the NHS and preventing fundamentally sound equipment being thrown away.’

Our lovely office dog Ollie also got to meet Jeremy, who got his waggy tailed seal of friendship. We would like to say a massive thank you to Jeremy Quin for taking time out of his busy day to learn more about what we do.
