Choosing the Right AED Trainer
For effective defibrillator training, it helps to train with the same or a similar device your team may use in an emergency. This builds familiarity with the voice prompts, button layout and pad placement, reducing hesitation during a real response.
If your site already has a live AED, check the make and model before ordering a training defib. Some trainer units are designed to match specific devices, while others are more general training tools.
Training pads are not the same as clinical pads. For practice sessions, use only compatible AED training electrodes. For your live device, keep separate replacement electrode pads and AED batteries ready and in date.
