What is shockwave therapy used for?

What's the difference between radial pressure wave and focused shockwave therapy?
Radial pressure wave (RPW) units apply energy from the skin surface and lose intensity with depth, making them well suited to superficial conditions. Focused shockwave concentrates energy at an adjustable focal point deeper in the tissue, useful for more precisely targeted or deeper-seated conditions. Both are supported by clinical evidence; the right choice depends on the depth and location of the condition being treated.
