Trimbio Warranty for New equipment / items.

All new Items purchased directly from Trimbio (excluding selling platforms such as Ebay, Amazon, Facebook etc unless otherwise stated) carry a (RTB) Return To Base UK warranty (term as stated on the invoice).

Items shipped or taken outside the UK carry the same (RTB) Return To Base warranty as stated below excluding delivery & collection charges (customer will be liable to pay for all transportation cost for all delivery & collection of any warranty claim).

What is and is not covered is detailed specifically in this document and the original manufacturer’s warranty. Trimbio reserves the right to repair or replace under warranty.

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase (invoice date) until the end of the warranty period. The warranty is subject to proof of purchase being provided; therefore, you should retain your sales invoice. The warranty is not transferable to a third party.

What is covered:

Parts and labour costs in relation to the repair of any fault which occurred during normal usage of the item within the warranty period;

All warranty work must be carried out by Trimbio;

What is NOT covered:

Consumables including cables, electrodes and batteries (unless otherwise stated) are not covered by the warranty;

Wear and tear;

Faults caused by shock or fall, sand, dust, dirt, damp or corrosion, leaky batteries, an act of war or terrorism, fire, theft, attempted theft, accidental or malicious damage, misuse, vandalism, corrosion, water contamination or ingress, frost, flooding or other adverse weather conditions, repair or cleaning by unauthorised personnel, damage caused by 3rd party delivery or transportation, damage caused by improper voltage or wiring, impact;

Faults relating to damage to components such as connector pins deemed by us to be the result of accidental damage or misuse;

Faults that have occurred because you have not used, stored or handled the product properly or have not followed Trimbio’s written instructions for the product, or those of the manufacturer; or damage or defect due to wilful neglect or negligence by anyone other than us;

Faults due to the connection of other fittings or accessories to the product which we have not approved;

Loss of quality, degradation of performance or actual damage that results from the use of spare parts or other replaceable items (such as consumables) that are neither made nor recommended by the manufacturer;

Lost or damaged data;

Making a claim:

In the unlikely event that you wish to claim under the warranty you can contact us by:

1. Emailing us at [email protected] stating your name, invoice number and describing the issue with your purchase.

2. Phoning us on 01403 597597 stating your name and invoice number.

Warranty Process:

Depending on the item and issue we reserve the right to request images of the fault / equipment and also discuss the issue over the phone to help diagnose the fault.

We may require you to make small adjustments to the equipment as sometimes the problem can be rectified this way.

We may send you parts / accessories to fit, this will be easy and simple to do, we will supply written instructions and / or telephone support to help with this process.

If the problem is deemed to be claimable under warranty (subject to inspection), then Trimbio will supply a RTN number so you can return the item for inspection or at Trimbio’s discretion for large / heavy item (such as treatment couches) we may arrange for an engineer to visit. Please note that you must contact us prior to returning any goods to obtain a RTN number.

All goods returned as faulty will be checked thoroughly by us and if no fault is found the item will be returned to you. We reserve the right not to offer a repair or replacement unless a fault with the item can be established, an inspection fee may be chargeable for items that are found not to be faulty and the issue is deemed to be user error.

Trimbio reserves the right to offer a replacement item in circumstances where a repair is deemed unviable.

We will repair / replace or refund the equipment in line with our terms & conditions, if special order parts or parts are on back order, or deliveries are delayed, we will not be liable to any claim relating to this.

ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED. TO THE EXTENT THAT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE NOT DISCLAIMED, THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABIITY, IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTIES HEREIN.

IN NO EVENT SHALL TRIMBIO BE LIABLE FOR LOST USE, LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, DELAYS, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RELATING TO THE EQUIPMENT OR RELATED REPAIR SERVICES, MATERIALS, PARTS, OR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Large item exclusions:

Large Item (items that cannot be collected / sent by courier / postal service – such as treatment couches) that have been delivered outside of our delivery area, are covered by a parts only warranty, we will supply parts & phone support to large items that are outside our delivery area, as listed below:

Trimbio delivery area is defined as:

Avon, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Cornwall, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Dorset, Devon, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Huntingdonshire, Hertfordshire, Herefordshire, Kent, Lancashire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, London, Middlesex, Monmouthshire, Northamptonshire, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Rutland, Suffolk,  Somerset, Staffordshire, Shropshire Sussex, Surrey, Warwickshire, Wiltshire Worcestershire, & Yorkshire.

Making a claim:

Trimbio reserves the right to offer a replacement item in circumstances where a repair is deemed unviable. In the case of reconditioned / secondhand / used items a replacement item may vary slightly in condition from the original item purchased.

We will repair / replace or refund the equipment in line with our terms & conditions, if special order parts or parts are on back order, or deliveries are delayed, we will not be liable to any claim relating to this.

Manufacturer or manufacturer equivalent new parts are generally used in warranty repairs on reconditioned / secondhand / used items, however, used or reconditioned parts may be used from time to time for repairs at Trimbio’s discretion.

ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED. TO THE EXTENT THAT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE NOT DISCLAIMED, THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABIITY, IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTIES HEREIN.

IN NO EVENT SHALL TRIMBIO BE LIABLE FOR LOST USE, LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, DELAYS, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RELATING TO THE EQUIPMENT OR RELATED REPAIR SERVICES, MATERIALS, PARTS, OR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
