Simply insert the Infant/Child Key into the FRx Defibrillator and the device automatically adjusts the defibrillation energy to a lower level suitable for younger patients. The key is designed for use on children under 8 years old or weighing less than 25kg (55lbs).
The key also provides clear anatomical diagrams to assist responders with correct defibrillator pad placement, helping to ensure the device can be used quickly and confidently in an emergency.
