Affinity Athlete Portable Couch

With the same ergonomic frame and styling as the 2-section Affinity 8, the 3-section Athlete is all about access and adjustability, making it a superb option for sports therapy, deep tissue massage, osteopathy and settings where a number of therapists, with different needs, share a room.

The Athlete’s lifting back rest makes it perfect for seated treatments and consultations hence its popularity with sports clubs and physios.  The sculpted centre section allows exceptional access to the pelvic and lumbar regions as well as offering the therapist an improved standing stance by reducing twisting.  The included face cradle and arm rest, coupled with the breathe hole and plug offer exceptional flexibility with client positioning.

The couch is upholstered with a durable PVC which covers our Therafoam sports grade foam.  This foam will ensure great levels of client comfort but will also provide excellent feedback during massage.  Port holes have been thoughtfully included at either end of the couch enabling the face cradle to be used either end, this spreading the couch wear.  It also means that a paper towel holder can be used at the same time as the face cradle frame.

As with all Affinity tables, the Affinity 8 sets up really simply and quickly (less than 7 seconds).  All you have to do is undo the clips, ease the legs out and lift to standing.  The height is easily adjustable thanks to one touch control on each telescopic leg.  Due to the shape of the centre section the legs will need to be taken down before closing the couch.  However, this takes seconds due to the clever design of the pop-up button.

In keeping with Affinity’s commitment to looking after the therapist, a quality carry case featuring a large front storage pocket, metal zips and fixings and posture friendly carry handles, is included as standard.
